Take a tour of the new National Comedy Center, the first state-of-the-art museum dedicated to telling the vital story of comedy in America. Named Best New Museum 2020 by USA Today and one of the “World’s Greatest Places” by TIME Magazine, the museum celebrates comedy’s great minds and unique voices, from Charlie Chaplin to Dave Chappelle. The growing archives preserves materials from legendary artists like George Carlin, Lucille Ball, Lenny Bruce, The Smothers Brothers and more. More than 50 TOUCH-FREE immersive exhibits with cutting-edge technology keep comedy lovers of all ages laughing throughout their visit. Plus, the annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival features professional comedians and events throughout Jamestown.
The National Comedy Center is Open Thursday through Monday from 10am - 5pm. Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday only (Labor Day through Memorial Day).
